After six years using the DJI Inspire 2 with X7 camera as our main workhorse for commercial production, DJI has announced the Inspire 3 with X9 air camera!
Our professional drone operators are very excited to add this cinema drone to our fleet. The drone has been upgraded in ways that will not only improve flight characteristics, range, flight time and stability, but will greatly improve workflow on set.
The DJI X9 air camera features a full frame 8.1K sensor that matches ARRI color science. The DL lens mount allows for use with the 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm lenses from the X7, as well as a new 18mm lens. A zoom lens is also planned for release.
Our professional aerial cinematographers, as well as productions camera operators and DP's will love the fact that not only is the new camera controller a huge upgrade with a built in monitor, we now also have the option of using wheels for gimbal control.
